The Humane Society generates revenue from the following sources: City Service Contract Adoption fees Surrender fees Pound fees Licensing Donations/Fundraising The Society has been appointed as the City of North Bay's Pound Keeper and Animal Control Officer. Under this service contract, the society enforces the City's animal control by-laws, which also include the selling of license tags. The Society is not responsible for the enforcement of the noise by-law (i.e. dogs barking).
