City Animal By-Laws

The City of North Bay currently has quite a few by-laws regulating the actions of pet owner's and their reponsibility to their pets.  Below are listed some of the by-law numbers and the area which they pertain to. 

By-Law No. 2009-113 – Stoop & Scoop – City of North Bay

By-Law No. 94-98 – Regulate and Control Cats – City of North Bay

By-Law No. 151-93 – Licensing Dogs and for the control of dogs and other animals – City of North Bay ***Keep in mind that all dogs must be kept under restraint in public areas at all times.  (ie.  Dogs must be kept on a leash).

By-Law No. 145-93 – Pet Shops – City of North Bay

By-Law No. 35-96 – Regulate the use of public parks – City of North Bay

***Please keep in mind that failure to abide by these by-laws may result in a fine.
