Animal Rescue

Animals in need are at the forefront of the work involved at the North Bay and District Humane Society.  Here, we take calls about animals who need our help, rescue animals in distress, pick up strays, and often accept animals that are brought in by the public.  We also enforce animal control by-laws for the safety of the community.  The staff deals with both domestic and wild animals, and works together to save and protect these amazing creatures.

Using the side bar, you can learn about some of wild animals we have had in our care.  You can also learn more about animal abuse, so that you can recognise the signs when an animal is in need.
