Adoption Process

  1. Guests interested in adoption will be briefed on appropriate behaviour around animals prior to interaction.
  2. Guests will be escorted by the Society staff to the viewing areas.
  3. Once a potential companion has been chosen ALL guests are required to complete an 'Adoption Application'.
    1. The application can be completed on location or at home.
    2. Maximum of 3 applications per animal.
  4. Applications will be reviewed by the General Manager and Shelter Coordinator on the next business day.
  5. In the event that an application is deemed incomplete or has items of concern the guest MAY be contacted at the discretion of the General Manager.
  6. All applicants, successful or not, will be contacted.
