  • Consent for Sunscreen and Insect Repellent

I understand that it is my responsibility to supply sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher every day for my child. It is recommended that I also supply insect repellent every day for my child. Humane Society staff will assist or apply the sunscreen or insect repellent if my child requires assistance and according to the instructions on the label. Insect repellent will be applied after sunscreen is applied. Humane Society staff will keep an emergency supply of sunscreen and insect repellent onsite. All sunscreen and insect repellent must be labelled with your child’s full name.

  • Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation must be made in writing two weeks in advance to the North Bay and District Humane Society. All cancellations received must be in writing. Refunds are not applicable for circumstances out of the control of the Humane Society, such as, weather conditions, power outages, etc. Should a camper not attend camp due to a COVID-19 related issue, families will only be charged for the days they are in attendance. Remaining day will be returned to the family via camp credit, not a refund, and participants may switch their days/weeks for another day/week provided spots are available. If spots are unavailable, unused credits can be converted to a charitable donation (a tax receipt will be issued) or carried over to Summer 2024.
