Volunteer Roles Available
#1. Dog Walking
Help our canine companions stretch their legs and enjoy the great outdoors! As a dog walker, you’ll provide exercise and socialization, helping our dogs become more adoptable. No experience is necessary – just a love for dogs and a willingness to learn! Dog walking is available on a drop-in basis. Volunteers must complete the Volunteer Application Form.
Commitment: 1-2 hours per week
#2. Cat Socialization
Our cats thrive on attention and affection. Spend time playing, grooming and interacting with them to help improve their social skills and readiness for adoption. Your gentle touch and playful spirit can transform their days! Cat Socialization is available on a drop-in basis. Volunteers must complete the Volunteer Application Form.
Commitment: 1-2 hours per week
#3. Housekeeping
A clean environment is crucial for the health and happiness of our animals. Help us with housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, doing laundry and maintaining a tidy shelter. Your efforts will ensure our animals live in a comfortable space.
Commitment: Flexible hours available
#4. Kennel Cleaning
Keeping our dog and cat kennels clean is vital for the well-being of our residents. Assist us in daily cleaning routines to maintain a healthy and welcoming environment for our animals. This role requires some physical activity and a strong sense of responsibility.
Commitment: 1-2 hours per week

• Volunteers must be 16 years or older.
• Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
