Surrenders

There may come a time when an owner has to make the difficult decision to re-home their pet. The North Bay Humane Society recognizes that animal surrender fees can act as a barrier to animal welfare access and pet medical care.

Members of the public from the North Bay and District Humane Society service area (North Bay, West Nipissing and East Ferris) who are surrendering owned animals are able to do so free of charge during regular business hours (Monday to Friday) subject to available space and resources. A donation to help with ongoing care would be appreciated but it not required.
