Annual Pet Checkups & Vaccinations
Annual Checkups at the North Bay Humane Society
The North Bay Humane Society now offers annual checkup appointments for your pets, providing an opportunity to keep them healthy and up to date on their vaccinations. Annual checkups are an important part of preventive care, allowing our staff to monitor your pet’s overall health, catch potential issues early, and provide guidance on nutrition, dental care, and lifestyle. Regular exams help ensure your pets live long, healthy, and happy lives.
Benefits of Annual Vaccinations
Vaccinations are a key part of preventive care. Core vaccines such as DA2PP for dogs, FVRCP for cats, and Rabies protect your pets from serious and potentially life-threatening diseases. Annual vaccination ensures your pet’s immunity remains strong and up to date. These appointments are particularly important for pets who may have missed doses or are due for their boosters, giving you peace of mind that your pet is protected.
Supporting Pet Families
The North Bay Humane Society provides vaccination services and basic checkups as an option for pet families who may be struggling to access veterinary care or who are having difficulty scheduling appointments in a timely manner. These services are designed to support your pet’s health but are not intended to replace regular visits to your primary veterinary care provider. We strongly recommend that all pet families maintain a relationship with a primary veterinarian to ensure comprehensive ongoing care, including more detailed diagnostics, chronic disease management, and individualized health advice.
