The North Bay and District Humane Society is hosting Barkfest Microchip Clinic presented by Coldwell Banker Peter Minogue Real Estate Brokerage on Saturday, June 7, 2025! Pet parents are encouraged to bring dogs and cats alike for a low-cost microchip – just register online to save your spot at event!

Microchips are a form of permanent identification for your pets – cats and dogs – that are embedded just under the skin between the shoulder blades.  They are about the size of a small grain of rice but hold information about the animal, including name, home address, owner’s name, phone number, and even medical records! Information provided is accessible through a global database, making it easy for lost pets to be quickly reunited with their family!
