Empowering Community Members to Approach Unknown Dogs
Do you stress about meeting dogs in the community? Had negative experiences with dogs in the past and feel it’s holding you back?
We’ve partnered with Dog Geeks to bring you “How to Approach a Dog,” an exciting and informative Lunch & Learn session at the North Bay Humane Society on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Designed to help community members learn how to approach unknown dogs in a safe and stress-free way, this session will help attendees learn about the basics of animal behaviour, how to recognize signs of distress in pets and how it’s possible to overcome fear of dogs, all in an engaging and hands-on one hour presentation.
